Equipment Disposal and Recycling
What WEEE means to you:-
WEEE is the European Union Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment. This directive was approved by The European Union at Brussels on the 8th November 2002. The directive states companies must no longer be allowed to simply dispose of obsolete, redundant and surplus equipment in skips or landfills.
The Directive aims to reduce the waste arising from electrical and electronic equipment and to improve the environmental performance of all those involved in the life cycle of electrical and electronic equipment.
Surplex UK Limited is ideally placed to help companies dispose of all redundant, surplus and obsolete IT equipment by providing a full collection and recycling service which adheres rigidly to the WEEE Directive.
